reductions in emissions. In steam methane reformers (SMRs), NOx reductions of up to 30% have been observed. Robotic convection cleaning TubeTech’s unique robotic cleaning system is capable of reaching up to 90% of convection section tube surfaces during planned turnarounds (see Figure 4 ). This technology removes fouling with greater consistency and without damaging the underlying metallurgy, enabling facilities to recover lost thermal efficiency and avoid regulatory penalties. On average, clients report a 3-5% increase in thermal efficiency and up to 15% reduction in CO₂ emissions.

Online repair and inspection Hot-tek Services provide online inspection, maintenance, and repair, including tube stabilisation, refractory repairs, and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) cleaning while the heaters are operating, with no interruption to production. These services eliminate unplanned outages and extend asset life. Additionally, regular Lancescope inspections and infrared (IR) thermographic inspections help identify anomalies early and guide preventive maintenance.
