Conclusions The conventional cartridge filter and RTM are less effective and more costly when it comes to removing FeS particles to minimise hydrocracker pressure drop problems. The MagAFS filter effectively addresses major pressure drop or plugging problems in the hydrocracker with minimal investment and low operational costs while maximising throughput.
